A beautiful house that was once the country retreat of a soap baron, Sharow Cross House is now the home of Rod and Lyn Macaulay and has been included in the Michelin Guide since 2002.  Large and graceful rooms have been carefully refurbished to provide luxurious and comfortable guest accommodation whilst still retaining original features including polished oak floors, plaster mouldings and imposing fireplaces.

Tea and homemade cakes served on arrival  provide a relaxed and homely feel from the moment you first arrive. Dining here is a real treat. Lyn is a passionate cook who has created menus featuring traditional and classic choices made from the freshest produce that would grace any restaurant. Guest bedrooms are spacious and bright and well equipped to provide those visiting with every comfort during their stay.
